The BEAUTY OF TRADITIONAL REIKI

Kathy just graduated from Traditional Reiki I on March 30, 2014 and these are her words:

“I do want to share with you my wonderful Reiki experience.  We have had a landslide (literally) in the town of Jackson and area known as Budge drive which is on the face of East Gros Ventre Butte.  There are about 30 houses up there and the one on top has split and a Budge Slideweek ago this last Friday the face slid about 10 feet.  During that day it looked like the whole thing might go.  I was working that day and we had been watching the slide on webcam at work.  The slide area is directly north of my house about 6 blocks away.  We have a two-story home and so I went to the upstairs spare room and could see the slide area over the roofs and treetops with the spotlights glaring on it so the police could monitor the area during the night.  I put my hands up (flat, fingers together including the thumbs) and started to Reiki the slide.  I was so stunned by the response.  At first it felt like gentle golf balls drumming against the palms of my hands and then it changed to a wave which rocked my whole body, gently, never any feeling of malevolence or danger.  Just intense energy.  And then it just stopped, gently, quietly just stopped.  I could feel that the slide had settled.  It still has some movement, about and .5 to 1” per day.  The toe of the slide destroyed the Walgreens parking lot and began to pull up the pavement in another business parking lot.  If you get a chance you can look at the slide on townofjackson.com, video of Budge Drive slide.  The message I got from Pachamama was she just had a little hitch in her get-along from all the digging they had done putting in that new Walgreens and she just needs to get back in balance.  I also had great success reviving one of my houseplants.  I have also Reikied the aspen trees out front because they have been having problems the last couple of years.  We shall see”.

Go in a good way,

BUTTERFLY ENERGY

 BUTTERFLY ENERGY

~by Diana Lynn

Colorful butterflies feeding on minerals in a dirt road
Colorful butterflies feeding on minerals in a dirt road

Colorful butterflies surround every pothole puddle for miles along the stretch of road that connects Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi. Other protected areas rich in butterflies are Kibale and Bwindi National Parks, which are also greatly forested. There were thousands of brightly iridescent colored butterflies everywhere I walked.  If you stood still, they would light on you and then flutter away.  These butterflies seemed content to stay on the African’s bodies but not on the tourists, except for me.  I seemed to be a magnet for them.  And one of the tour guides in Bwindi took me out for a couple of hours to observe everything, because I was easy going and really enjoyed taking “in” their Africa’s smallest details. He told me, that he had never seen the butterflies land on a white woman before in such large numbers, there were no bare spots on my body; all were taken by these awesome and engaging butterflies.  He was miffed and I was thrilled; I believed they came to me because of the Reiki and the energy work that I do.  When the butterflies were on my body, they were receiving the Reiki which in turn gave them a strong dose of vibrant energy that insured their safety from the animals and the elements for the next 36 hours! For me to have all these butterflies on my body were several moments of sheer joy with their sharing with me; it felt like gentle nudging’s of shared connection for me and much more for the butterflies. The vibes that I felt from them:  “Where did you come from?”  “Are there more of you?”  “We haven’t felt this before.”  “Stay, we like this vitality.”

This is what Nature loves to share with people, their individuality!

Mother Nature & The Energy Horror Story

 by Amy Lignor

With everything that Mother Nature has thrown about this winter (and knowing there is far more to come), gas and propane prices have become a darker horror story than anything even ‘Stephen King’ could produce.

Just getting on the telephone and listening to family members talk about how $700.00 shipments of gas/or oil have been needed every two weeks and another $400.00 or more for propane during the same time, makes one sick. Not sick enough to move backutility-bills to the frozen tundra of Connecticut from the eighty degree weather of New Mexico but, still…sick.

99% of the people on this planet can not afford this crisis. Not to mention, the world can not afford to have oil, gas and propane still be the end all and be all of energy sources that keep the world from getting greener and the people from gaining any financial success whatsoever

As everyone knows, gas markets, oil and propane fluctuate constantly. The demand grows higher and higher in a winter that simply won’t quit, and the need for cleaner burning (which is, of course, more expensive) summer-grade fuel, is also ruled and regulated to death. Demand is far outweighing supply. Heck, even state of emergencies were declared with the last storm when various states announced they had no salt or sand left for the roads. Everything affects the prices of everything else when it comes to the need for energy to be supplied.

OPEC, also, will slow down production levels to help maintain whatever global crude oil price they want at any given time. Seeing as that a huge piece of that market is controlled by OPEC, the output narrows, and the prices rise. Perhaps it doesn’t matter at the moment, seeing as that millions can’t even get on the road, so buying gas is not an option at all.

Not only are the budgets of cities and states going south, as far as finding the money to deploy extra plows and buy extra sand and salt, but it is the individual homeowner who is really getting the burden of the polar vortex placed on their shoulders.

Statistics are high and getting higher with each new storm. More than 14 million families across the U.S. use propane to fuel their furnaces; this fact ended up having many states declaring energy emergencies one right after the other. Residents are being asked to cut down as much as possible because supplies are limited, and customers are being begged by their state and town leaders to use everything wisely in the coming weeks and not to waste energy.

The Midwest already had a propane deficiency before the winter even came upon them, and in the middle of January, before Pax and a few others hit hard, the average propane prices were 58 cents per gallon higher than last year. The wallets of those whose wallets are already on empty are being emptied out even more. And that’s if they can even GET shipments to their homes.

Winter-weather budgets of major cities have had to be slashed. Chicago is only one that dealt with this problem, cutting their budget by more than half during January’s very first storm.

People want the streets safe, yes, but they want their homes warm so that they and their children don’t freeze. Without the energy sources available, not to mention the cash, 2014 has started on a very negative note.

Wind chills of minus-twenty degrees or even lower have been a daily weather event. For homes that are older and less insulated, the wind chills have destroyed any idea of coming home to a nice, warm house after work. When prices go up, when money is tight, when the house is cold – these are all issues that bring about depression, as well as new aches and pains never before experienced.

As far as the future of energy is concerned, the government leaders, the states, the businesses and the 1%, will have to find new ways to supply new energy sources ASAP. After all, even when this winter comes to a close there’s no telling whether or not 2015 will usher in yet another polar vortex horror story.

Be Safe!

What is Energy?

what_is_energy

Energy occurs in many forms: electricity, nuclear power, gasoline, and our own muscles all provide energy. But, these are only sources of energy, and not energy itself.

Energy is defined as the ability, or potential, to perform work. Science defines work as one physical system working on a second system to produce force applied over distance. Put simply, energy equals the force needed to move an object from one point to another.

Movement is an integral part of energy. Even heat involves movement. Water boils in a kettle because heat from the kettle causes water molecules to move faster. Without that movement, the water would never boil.

Science recognizes two types of energy: kinetic and potential. Kinetic energy is energy associated with actual movement of some kind. A speeding car and a sprinter both possess kinetic energy. The heavier and faster an object, the greater its kinetic energy.

The moment an object stops moving, it loses kinetic energy and gains potential energy. The energy exists, but is stored for later use. Usually an object’s potential energy is in relation to another object. For instance, imagine holding a rock in your hand, above the floor. The rock has potential energy: if you drop the rock, it falls, turning potential energy into kinetic energy. Once the rock hits the ground and stops actually moving, its kinetic energy returns to potential energy.

The Law of Conservation of Matter and Energy dictates that the sum total of matter and energy in the universe remains constant. This means energy isn’t consumed only transferred from one object to another. For instance, throwing a paper plane transfers energy from your body to the plane without diminishing the total amount of energy in the universe.

How ClimateMaster Increases Property Values

‘Going Green’ and helping the world around you is a good thing. However, saving the ‘green’ that ends up in your pocket is also extremely beneficial. The question is, can a homeowner receive both? With ClimateMaster, they absolutely can.

Oh, so many rules – so little time; this is a very true statement when it comes to making sure your home is ecologically sound. From turning off lights to unplugging appliances so they do not draw and waste energy, to making sure that incandescent light bulbs are replaced with LED lights, to making sure that power strips (that were bought to save energy), are also turned off – being ‘green’ while saving the ‘green’ is a real chore.

All of the above products are on the ‘innovative’ and ‘energy efficient’ list for homeowners. However, when it comes to being environmentally sound and saving huge amounts of energy, as well as huge amounts of money – ClimateMaster is the company people are running to in order to install the Geothermal HVAC systems that save it all: money, time, energy, AND provide consumers with a federal tax credit of 30%!

Not only are these ClimateMaster products doing all this for the consumer, but it’s also a huge fact that in the 21st Century, any ‘green’ home improvements made increase the resale value of homes across the nation.

Whether you are a consumer who’s out there looking to buy, sell, or make improvements to your home, the ‘green’ category is huge and results in a higher home value. There have been a list of studies done by groups located in all areas – from Washington state all theTranquility Digital Indoor Split TES way down the California coast – that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that houses created or improved with ‘green’ building materials are offering consumers major money back on their out-of-pocket expenses.

One of the biggest names when it comes to making these improvements correctly is ClimateMaster. With fifty years of experience behind them providing consumers with systems that are ENERGY STAR designated, ClimateMaster knows how to increase property values. But not only is the consumer able to sell their ‘improved’ home for a higher price, they are also able to sell their home faster than their non-‘green’ counterparts.

There are always expenses to think about; there are home improvements that fall into the ‘green’ category that can range from expensive to affordable, depending on what you choose to do. But with ClimateMaster, your investment only adds to the home and will return your money and then some by lowering utility bills and making your home a ‘must-have’ property.

Heating, cooling and hot water represent over 70% of a single home’s annual utility bills, so not only are the energy efficient ClimateMaster HVAC systems a great long-term investment that saves you money and lowers those monthly bills, but they are also the best ‘green’ home improvement investment you can make.

The environmental impact is immediately reduced, which is why the homeowner then qualifies for the unlimited 30% federal renewable energy tax credit which automatically reduces upfront costs. And the ‘green’ improvement makes your home a ‘top pick’ in the real estate market.

‘Green’ is a trend. However, ‘money-saving’ is also a trend that will never die. Hard-working families are interested in making sure they not only save cash, but also make sure that any cash they put into their homes will cause the home to be among the trendiest. When using ClimateMaster, these are no longer worries.

Residential ‘green’ home building (AKA sustainable homes), are a trend that’s also here to stay. Full ‘green’ neighborhoods and communities are appearing in almost every city across this nation; communities that are designed to reduce or even eliminate a homeowner’s need to rely on old, traditional utilities that not only raise bills every month, but also do harm to the environment. With ClimateMaster, the environmental impact of residential living is reduced because of the easy installation and everyday use of natural and renewable energy sources.

Geothermal heating and cooling systems are the most popular feature of ‘green’ homes, because of their low energy consumption, high energy efficiency and clean, natural and renewable energy sources. HVAC systems powered by qualified ENERGY STAR geothermal heat pumps are an absolute necessity in order to create that sustainable home. And, in the end, the homeowner receives tremendous benefits that can go straight into the bank!

Talk about sleeping better. Save money, lower utility bills, have the ability for an easy and quick resale, and minimize your home’s carbon footprint all at the same time; this is the long, unmatched list that ClimateMaster provides.

So what are you waiting for? Call ClimateMaster and ‘begin installation’ today! Because not only will your relationship with ClimateMaster allow you to purchase products that pay for themselves, but they will also transform your home from a traditional living area into what everyone is looking for – an “eco-friendly” house!

Green States Energy Helps Everyone from the US and Beyond

Yes, there may have been suspicious sightings. Yes, there may have been a government cover-up back in 1947. (Heck, even Indiana Jones mentioned his involvement). But there is one thing that is completely non-debatable, and that is the fact that Roswell, New Mexico is bathed in sunshine most of the year. (My apologies to one and all who have been living through this never-ending winter across the country). However, because of the ultimate sunshine, bringing solar power projects to Roswell would certainly be the best choice for all those ‘intelligent life forms’ out there who wish to create clean energy for entire communities.

Enter…Green States Energy, Inc. This particular company is known for their projects – from solar to wind and everything in between – as they try and help this world become energy efficient so that we no longer drain the earth’s natural elements.

This independent power producer, which has always been focused on developing, acquiring and operating clean energy Roswellgeneration facilities, have turned their focus once again on New Mexico to provide clean, reliable electric generation to local governments, utilities, commercial and industrial clients.

Owning more than 8MW of operating solar facilities with a total annual output of more than 10 million kilowatt-hours of electricity, Green States Energy has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they know their business inside and out. Their project pipeline is one that has hit all the media and is comprised of over 100MW of generation capacity. Their ultimate strategy is to transform the ‘best’ technologies and processes into solutions that can be effective and will work responsibly in various locations around the globe. With offices spanning from New Jersey to Switzerland, GSE has grown by leaps and bounds by being creative and staying ahead of the competition.

What Green States Energy offers are not products for sale, they actually work on projects that span the world of technology in order to help the communities that need help by examining each and every power generation opportunity and determining what is the best fit for each of them. Because of the state of the earth, Green States Energy literally helps everyone from the U.S. and beyond, offering them geographic diversity so that they can literally choose the right projects and match them with the right technologies. It is no wonder that GSE is one icon on the stock market that many people are investing in, seeing as that their long and profitable future is a given.

Solar power is not new; it’s most definitely a technology that many people across the globe want to depend on, allowing them to move farther and farther away from the energy resources that are harming the very earth we live on. Now, solar PV installations are just like the realm of agriculture, because they are not quite as high off the ground as a corn crop so they will never interfere with sightlines. And, once they’re planted, so to speak, a solar PV installation offers absolutely no noise to bother anyone in the community, as they generate electricity for up to thirty years or more. Emissions-free electricity – this is a plus no matter how you look at it.

Costs a are reduced (which everyone wants to have happen in all areas of their lives), simply because the fuel created is stable, free and knows no bounds. It does not depend on any outside energy sources. The sun is all that’s needed – and in New Mexico, of course, that’s basically all you receive.

In addition, solar PV requires almost no maintenance – once they’re built they will only cost approximately 2.5 cents each YEAR to operate. Solar PV works during the daytime, which is the peak time for users, and they produce maximum output during the summer which, of course, is when utility costs are at their peak because of those pesky air conditioners that suck the money right out of the bank account.

This new Roswell project will not only bring jobs to the community, which are desperately needed, but also bring the power along with it. The project is being called ‘GSE NM-2,’ and it will be a 2.5 MW ground-mounted solar PV project. It is scheduled for construction during the first half of 2013, and the electricity produced from the project will be sold to the local utility server, Xcel Energy. The #2 project will be combined with #1, which included many areas such as Dexter, which is close to Roswell, receiving solar power sites. With the two combined, more than 9 million kilowatt-hours of electricity will be provided to the community, which will be enough to serve approximately 780 homes. The CO2 emissions saved will be at or over 225,000 tons and the SO2 emissions saved will be over 990 tons, when you take in the projects’ full shelf life.

All communities, all states – everyone needs to be a part of the ‘solar movement’ simply because it is time to save both money and the earth; not to mention, the extra jobs will be a blessing.

Soon it will not be just the 1947 incident that everyone remembers; when it comes to Roswell, the 2013 Solar Project may just take the lead. (Although, between you and me, the UFO Festival is a real blast!)

Geothermal Versus Traditional Energy

ClimateMaster Shows Homeowners the Ultimate in Savings!

For those who are unaware, ENERGY STAR appliances, such as energy efficient refrigerators, furnaces, air conditioners, heating systems – all of these are necessary for a homeowner to utilize. ClimateMaster, the company with over fifty years experience in helping homeowners achieve lower utility bills and a higher resale value for their homes, provides the ENERGY STAR products that bring about a ‘new’ way of working with the planet in order to create profit for the homeowner. And profit is something each and every one of us needs.

Back in 1996, ENERGY STAR was created as a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. The program was put together essentially to help homeowners save money while protecting the environment by using energy efficient products in their homes.

Now, Americans who have followed this program’s guidelines have officially saved enough energy that they have actually cut Tranquility Digital Indoor Split TESgreenhouse gas emissions AND saved $18 billion on their household utility bills. Which means, it’s not exactly a big surprise that ENERGY STAR is now a nationally recognized symbol with thousands of models, appliances and systems available that homeowners can trust.

Is this something that sounds ‘too good to be true?’ Not at all. Geothermal electricity is currently being used in twenty-four countries; and when it comes to Geothermal heating and cooling, this process is being used in over seventy countries.

Unlike traditional HVAC systems which ‘pull’ or ‘draw’ heat from outside sources – increasing utility bills and wasting energy – Geothermal power is actually sustainable because the heat and cooling process that’s happening within the home are actually being drawn straight from the earth’s all-natural cooling and heating abilities.

ClimateMaster is the ‘top name’ when it comes to a company that runs on the intense need and desire to continue to use this particular energy and money-saving way of life, and they have proven to one and all that HVAC systems running off the Geothermal process give back to the consumer; in fact, they give back money, federal tax credits, save power and offer each and every customer an eco-friendly home that comes with an automatic increase in resale value.

Geothermal energy is thermal energy generated and stored in the earth. This is a continuous source of energy, seeing as that the earth absorbs nearly half of the solar energy the planet receives, allowing the earth to remain a constant, moderate temperature just below its surface all year long.

When it comes to the outdoor air temperature, and the always brutal changes Mother Nature provides, the traditional methods of exchanging heat with the air to provide a home with heating and cooling are not as efficient geothermal heating and cooling.. By using a piping system known as a “loop,” Geothermal heating and cooling systems have taken care of the problem. Based on this “loop,” water circulates from a home to the ClimateMaster Geothermal heat pump, to the earth, and then back again. By doing this, the ability to heat and cool has become incredibly efficient once again – 400-600% efficient, to be exact.

And knowing that Geothermal power requires no fossil fuel, homeowners who install ClimateMaster Geothermal systems become immune to the ups and downs (mostly ups, as we all know), of fuel costs.

So when it comes to ‘Traditional versus Geothermal’ the winner of the battle is clear. And in the end, the only thing homeowners receive is more money in their pockets by simply doing things the ‘right’ way.
